Episode #44: Adèle-Marie Buis

Hello and welcome back to the Dominic Brancazio Podcast where we talk about all things classical music! In today’s episode, we’re joined by my friend Adèle-Marie Buis. Adèle-Marie is a paralegal and freelance oboist living in Chicago, Illinois, and in today’s episode we talk about her journey working different careers while playing music. In this episode, we talk about her upbringing in music, share stories from our time in college and at New World Symphony, how she worked different jobs at the National Office for Arts Accreditation and her current paralegal job, and how she balances her work life and continues to play the oboe in Chicago.

If you would like to learn more about Adèle-Marie or about her work, please check out the link in the description below. I had a wonderful time getting the chance to see Adèle-Marie in this talk. She was such an amazing colleague in school and during our time at New World Symphony and I loved getting to hear about her current endeavors. I know you all will get a lot out of hearing her insight all of the topics we discussed in the episode. Thank you all so much for tuning in and please enjoy the show!
