Episode #42: Kyle Ruggles
Hello everyone and welcome back to the Dominic Brancazio Podcast where we talk about all things classical music. In today’s episode, we’re joined by my very good friend Kyle Ruggles. Kyle is a freelance flute player living in Memphis, Tennessee, and in this episode we share fun stories about freelancing and about our experience in the music field. We dive into Kyle’s background, talk about important teachers to us during our time at New England Conservatory, we share some free resources every musician can explore, discuss things music students should expect when leaving school, and we also talk about balancing a full-time job alongside playing music.
If you would like to learn more about Kyle, please check out the link in the description below. We were really good friends in school and also roommates during our senior year at New England Conservatory, so I’m very excited to have the opportunity to share our conversation with you all. Thank you for listening and please enjoy the show.
